Why is Imp Invulnerable during robocall

But Acorn isn't invulnerable during Oak transformation? This makes absolutely no sense. Any reasonable explanation for this?

  • If they end up buffing the Z-Mech to be as good as it was in GW2, they need to remove his invulnerability so that he can’t be used as a kamikaze when he rushes in to a group of plants and calls in the mech. It’s unfair how many times I’ve been actively shooting an imp and they can just pull out their win button and invalidate anything I do. Z-Mech should be risk reward, not pure reward.

  • @Shinobicap Because quality control was to busy making shiny things they can charge money for in game.

This has been brought up a bajillion and a half times since last October. You see how important it is to EA and Popcap. It’s unfortunately the only consistency in the game, half finished characters, abilities, upgrades, maps, games, giddy park.. it goes on forever. I’ve actually taken to sharing screen shots on gamers forums on social media. Inexcusable.

The amount of times I've used this ability in a group of plants and immediately Explosive Escape after it has resolved … it's a very cheesy way of getting kills! I find it fun to perform this trick, but I agree that the Imp should not be invincible when using his Robocall. Maybe one day Imp will no longer be invulnerable when using this ability... 🙂!
