Why no Mantle anymore?

PvZ GW2 doesn't support Mantle and even Multisample-Anti-Aliasing anymore. Why? So PvZ GW1 has the advantage in graphics but GW2 is not able to do such things? I didn't buy GW2 yet and use the Tria...
