YES popcap has made a truly balanced game!

it took a while but finally they have done it. A game where the game is 50 50 to each side

and to all you people who say

' Chomper isnt good anymore'

'Rose is underpowered'

' super brainz has to much health'

first of all( if you like the plants more)

you are playing the plants wrong m'kay? your a TEAM, its a TEAM game, its CALLED. PLANTS vs ZOMBIES emphasis on the PLURAL

there is no 'I' in team

the chomper is a support character, but can easily win in a 1v1 fight. the goop is to slow down any advancing zombies, but if you cant get to your victim in time, then your team has your back.

spikeweed isnt as good as it used to be but it still does its job of keeping the zombies still

Rose is NOT A DAMAGE DEALER. the nerf has happened ok. play the rose correctly and stay with your Kernal Corn ( they work really well)

the imp is still a joke to deal with. 75 health is at least half a clip from your ammo( if you can hit him that is) and ive heard people call the Z-Mech 'OP'. when has it ever occured to you that if you stay in a TEAM then you can take it down in seconds ( Chomper's goop and Citron's EMPeach are mech killers btw)

now the zombies

sorry guys your ultimate rule over GW1 is now over, but you still have zomburbia ( btw guys do you know how the zombies took over? the plants were doing fine until something happened)

i dont see many complaints about the zombies being OP so i will see if i can get anything

i got nothing, but i do have how you should play each character

Rose: Support your team mates by weakening you foes with the slow down spell and goatify

Citron: Rush into the base and capture as long as you can, with your sheild up and you EMPeach for the groups of zombies

Corn: your a run and gun character, with your high health you can last a while on the front lines of the battle

Peashooter: you can take on small groups of zombies, jump around them with hyper, if bad comes to worst then realease a chilli bean. gatling is for the long ranged guys

Chomper: 1v1

Sunflower: with the fact you can revive people to full health, and your intense speed, just dont even battle. run around revivng your fallen allies. it gets you a suprisin amount of points

Cactus: Captain Deadbeards worst nightmare

sorry i dont really know how to play as the zombies but im ready to learn

    I love playing both sides, I have a couple of favorite plants and zombies I love to play. 

    I also love proving, without a doubt, mathematically, that in the damage department both sides are pretty even. Because of this, it proves the sides are much more in balance than many of the Plants players act with their constant whining. 

    That being said, the game isn't truly balanced. That would indicate that all classes are equally easy to use, that all classes are balanced against one another, and it's just not true. Some classes are going to absolutely obliterate others. A sniping Cactus is going to beat an Engineer, but a Brainz is going to destroy the Cactus and so on and so forth.

    Also, there are a few problems. Currently, Imp's are a little too strong, and Electro Brains splash dmg from his ring needs nerfed. Once those two are fixed, the game will be a lot closer to team balance.

    I honestly think the same, besides Electro Brainz ring damage tick, the Base one is fine.

    Imps are not that strong. Their health is fine to 75. Maybe they should just remove the HP upgrade which make them too unhealthy experience? Or make them to 60-65 in the way you can reach 70-75.
    A single fire shot pratically kill them, if they want to give him counterplay they can add one more Fire Tick to fire element and he will be less stronger in short trades? In longer trades has no effect anyway because if you fight more you are going to refresh the rate and one more tick i dont think is that unbalanced.
    Besides that he's just weak now against PeaShooter splash damage so Plants can still have a chance against him.
    Problem is mech. If was a common Kitable Tank would be fine even with 500HP. But every Mech (or the special one not? dont know) have a dash.
    The dash on a tank with high damage is usually not recommended. You force people to focus you and letting your team being no focused. Even if you die you still win. I mean, your team win.
    This creates an unbalance state.

    What make Imp Op was Rose be gone. If community or developer think is not healthy to balance make some quality changes on her Homing, actually is very bugged and not working as intended. And her projectile speed is pratically garbage. Its not even about single indivual skill but shoot and pray enemy is afk.

  • This game is terribly unbalanced. It is terrible compared with GW1.

    I mean we have superbrains whose laser is better than any of the cactai!!! And they're are supposed to be the sniper class.

    It really is just an online mess that needs some serious attention otherwise it will lose it's audience. They introduced all these new characters without thinking of how they are going to severely leave underpowered all the originals.

    Give the cactus back its trick to fly itself up using its drone!

    1. rose
    - balance is very good.
    - do not need additional balancing
    - rose is not useless. She is just support class member like engineer. rose is powerful than engineer.
    - If you want healing power pick the sunflower
    - Support characters aren't suppose to have a lot of health
    - Support characters aren't suppose to outgun other classes without the help of their teammates, that's why they are called support characters
     
    2. zen cactus
    - very nerfed!
    - zen cactus need more damage or splash damage and drone's damage. zen cactus is weaker than pirate sharkbite
    - zen cactus hard to kill imp.
    - cactus's drone is weaker than pirate's parrot.(parrot is small, agile, more health, and powerful airstrike)
    - pirate has shotgun+long range gun, but cactus only has long range gun.
     
    3. Plants team is weak.(specially turk takeover + herbal assault offense)
    - zen cactus need more damage or splash damage. zen cactus is weaker than pirate sharkbite.
    - cactus's drone is weaker than pirate's parrot. (parrot is small, agile, more health, and powerful airstrike)
    - sunflower need more fire rate and zoom.
    - citron's primary weapon need more damage or more fire rate.
    - pirate has shotgun+long range gun, but cactus only has long range gun.
    - pirate >(stronger than) cactus
    - scientist (healer + death machine) > sunflower (healer + supporter)
    - super brains (short + long range attack) > chomper(only short range attack)
    - Plants team is weak, but rose do not need additional balancing.(rose balance is very good)
     
    4. imp
    - balance is not good.
    - imp mech is dominate the game!
    - zen cactus hard to kill imp. (zen cactus need more damage or splash damage and drone's damage.)
    - imp's health should be 60!
     
    5. Popcap/EA
    - every balancing have a big problem.
    - popcap's balancing ability is very poor (compare to Call of Duty series)
    - every character need more DPS.(like a GW2 beta)
    - I will never buy PvZ GW3!

    I love zombies and plants equally but find myself playing plants more-- for the challenge. There is just one zombie I find needing a nerf: Electro brain. His arc can kill in seconds and I doubt pop cap intended that. Before the patch, I queued zombie side mainly because of the challenge against Rose, but when I switched to plants, I found myself at a slight handicap because I did not take the time to explore and learn the counters to the new zombies. This learning curve smooths out fairly quickly. Keep at it!

    im sorry but i honestly never play the zombies and when i do i normally stick to one or two classes (foot soldier and captain deadbeard)

    i have no clue on how to play both imp class and super brainz, im getting the hang of all star though.

    in my opinion. if the zombies stay together. it is both good and bad because the plants have loads of AoE attacks( chili bean, time bubble thing, goop,corn and butter stricks. husk cob and i think there are a few more) but if an imp calls a mech then it wont be taken down o easily by the opposing team, because its easier to take down a loner mech than a mech with his homies
