Yeti king can't be killed

Question

What's going on here we tried the boss hunt and tried to kill the yeti king but we did the mini hunt for the ice creams did that and hit the yeti and it's health did not go down at all. And there are way too many zombies. I unloaded 4 clips into the yeti with my BBQ corn and didn't even scratch it. Please fix this so most people can come back to these challenges instead of being turned away

Destroying the popsicles is not what causes the Yeti King to be vulnerable. After that, you need to survive until the "King's Fool" spawns, which is a Champion Imp. Kill it and drink the drink that the imp drops, and whoever drank it will get a field around them. Stay in that field and hunt out and damage the king, as this is the only time he is vulnerable. Boss Hunt is a game mode which is intended to be complex and extremely difficult and not everyone is going to have the skills necessary to survive to the end. If you're new to the game you're definitely coming in on one of the more difficult Boss Hunts due to the freezing factor involved.
