You don't deserve Unicorn Chomper
They released the loyalty rewards a good month before the release of Garden Warfare 2 so you had plenty of time to power level to rank 313 and if you did not do this, you don't deserve the unicorn ch...

Yup that's all it is. Even the devs thought it was a unfair deal that's why they didn't implement it in harden warfare 2.
So this is the face of the GW community? Disgraceful.
POPCAP would do themselves well not to bend for arrogant players who feel entitled to something because they paid for the game. POPCAP tries to thank some players and the rest feel like their purchase entitles them to be CEO of EA. Not happening on my watch. The Unicorn Chomper is a reward for players who achieved the max rank in GW1.
POPCAP wanted to award them for going the extra mile even though they did NOT have to. There was NEVER an incentive to be max rank in GW1 besides a cool star icon. So POPCAP wanted to do something nice for them that did so. Before the announcement, players who made max rank kept playing regardless of having unlocked everything and not being able to rank up any further. These are the players POPCAP wanted to thank for their dedication.
To all you players who think you are better than the ones who earned the unicorn chomper remember this:

Well, you know... as typical on this forum, it's much easier to whine to get something than it is to put in any time, money, or effort...
- Cool. I personally don't care or want the unicorn chomper. But guess what. It's in my way to completing my sticker book. That's cool you went the extra mile to get it. Grats. When companies start locking people out of what's already on the disk it makes me mad. If it was something that was cosmetic and epic that would be fair. But a legendary varient with legendary skills is what upsets me.
But you aren't locked out of it. You have a year to rank up to 313 in GW1 to unlock it.

POPCAP did not lockout anybody. Players still have time to achieve the max rank. Not only did they give notice last year, but even EXTENDED the opportunity for another year. The only thing stopping you or anyone else from achieving max rank is yourself. Go back to GW1. We will wait for you to become 313 and provide courage.
- I don't understand the video game industry anymore. When I was a kid games were just games. Then they figured out that people will pay an absurd amount of money to deluxe editions. After that they think we have all the time in the world to make it to max level to fulfill our ocd needs. Ugh. I hate being a collector. It's hell is your a gamer. Especially an adult gamer...
Its a base chomper with the scientist's warp capability. Other than the combination, there's nothing new or legendary about it. The best advantage it gives you is when all the jealous zombie players come after you and that may help your team win the match.

Exactly - it does look pretty awesome, but thats about it. He/she is probably the weakest of my chompers. Not sure if it will change, but at the moment it can't even burrow, which is a big disadvantage. I love him/her none the less though.
I find it rather ironic that people are complaining about people being all self entitled then go on a whinny self entitled rant of why pop cap should keep it the way they want.😛

I don't see anyone whining about how it currently is... all they're saying is that you can get it, so stop whining that you can't.

Looks to me like there's several people complaining that popcap should not allow access to the Unicorn Chomper through other means which is also self entitlement but maybe I'm reading too much into it.🤔
