They released the loyalty rewards a good month before the release of Garden Warfare 2 so you had plenty of time to power level to rank 313 and if you did not do this, you don't deserve the unicorn ch...

So this is the face of the GW community? Disgraceful.
POPCAP would do themselves well not to bend for arrogant players who feel entitled to something because they paid for the game. POPCAP tries to thank some players and the rest feel like their purchase entitles them to be CEO of EA. Not happening on my watch. The Unicorn Chomper is a reward for players who achieved the max rank in GW1.
POPCAP wanted to award them for going the extra mile even though they did NOT have to. There was NEVER an incentive to be max rank in GW1 besides a cool star icon. So POPCAP wanted to do something nice for them that did so. Before the announcement, players who made max rank kept playing regardless of having unlocked everything and not being able to rank up any further. These are the players POPCAP wanted to thank for their dedication.
To all you players who think you are better than the ones who earned the unicorn chomper remember this:

I find it rather ironic that people are complaining about people being all self entitled then go on a whinny self entitled rant of why pop cap should keep it the way they want.😛

I don't see anyone whining about how it currently is... all they're saying is that you can get it, so stop whining that you can't.

Looks to me like there's several people complaining that popcap should not allow access to the Unicorn Chomper through other means which is also self entitlement but maybe I'm reading too much into it.🤔
I still don't have it unlocked. I made a strong push after the Beta and got into the 200's on level. Then The Division Beta came out and I got early access to GW2, so I still need to go back and finish levelling up. It's a pain in the butt, but I focused on just buying the 10,000 coin sticker packs to get the skip challenge cards. If I'm unable to earn a challenge within a couple of games, then it's skipped.
