now everyone probably know I hate imps by this point, but I think the Z7 imp seems very weak. His mech sucks (in my opinion) and his damage seems low because his guns just seem weird. Of all the imps in the game Z7 imp never causes me any trouble. I mean they can still get me with grav grenade and impkatta but other than that they seem really weak.
Don't be fooled by his single shot nature. If you have a good trigger (or rather, a modded controller/macro) he fires 10 shots per second. That and his high damage make him extremely dangerous if the user has a lot of skill. I can only suggest to practice, but some people (like me) just don't have good triggers while others have.
Agreed I thought the Z imp was pretty awesome one of my favourites I don't understand its stigma. If you got a good trigger, hes got good precision on the snipe too. The mech was lacking but they upped the Omni blade so its a bit better now
z7 imp is really my favorite right now. I just learned to play with a mouse recently, but you can play him with a gamepad too, as i played him with gamepad the whole time until one week ago, and i have more than 2,5 K/D with him
Remap the jump button to R3 and the fire button to R1 and i can assure you he's a monster.
I don't think he need a buff. He's the strongest imp, but at least he's very hard to play.
He's like the best imp right now which is only hurt by his not-so-great Z-mech.
