Bug with the Garden Rake

I bought the Garden Rake from Crazy Dave's Twiddydinkies, and played a level with it. However, during that level I exited and saved my progress. On returning, it suddenly placed a rake in a spot despite me continuing my current progress, causing a random rake to be used. This isn't HORRIBLE, but still will kinda annoying me.

I have beat Adventure, and this happened in the middle of Adventure+.
