Game Softlocks at Zen Garden — No Way to Continue (v1.5.0)

I was playing co-op on PlayStation whether part of the issue or not, after completing 5-4 getting the zen garden watering can, when Crazy Dave tells me about the watering can I’m unable to progress. It says “click X to continue” through his dialogue but it is not working. I restarted the game multiple times and I am soft locked from adventure mode currently. Also, the garden doesn’t show up in the main menu because it is technically not unlocked because I am unable to complete the dialogue with Dave. I even tried turning my controller off and back on, only for the cursor to show up and nothing else. I am able to do puzzles and mini games but no main campaign levels because it will force me into the dialogue with Dave.
I’ve hit the exact same big but in single player, so it’s not related to co-op. PS5, Patch 1.5, was progressing without issue through the adventure and I now I can’t progress past 5-4 as the game won’t recognise me pressing X on the controller.
