Idea for cloudy day.

Now I'm not sure if anyone else has said this before, but in cloudy day. I wanted to test a theory, and that theory was to see if a mushroom still sleeps when its cloudy. As it turns out... It doesn't. My idea is that mushrooms sleep during the day parts but then wake up when it starts raining. And even if you coffee bean them. They still go back to sleep when it turns back to day. I can see some janky stuff here, and maybe that's why you didn't do that. But if you can, please.
