Possible optional EA Account linking for PlayStation and Xbox consoles?

This might be a tough question to ask... But one thing I had noticed about the Patch Notes for PvZ: Replanted's v1.2.1 Patch mentioned having the ability to link your EA account on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted. 

So this has got me thinking for a long LONG time... Could there be a possibility to have optional EA Account linking for the other known gaming consoles? Like PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S)? That would be great for people playing on other consoles (like us PlayStation and Xbox players) to not fully lose their progress and stuff. Thanks!

    Hey chipchipclip​ , while it's possible de link EA and PSN/Xbox accounts, cross-progression isn't a feature for Plants vs Zombies Replanted so that won't help much ☹️ The main reason players are linking accounts is to get online access for some games. Currently only Apex Legends supports cross-progression as far as EA games go.

    Hmmm...🤔 

    If it's just only for online access.. 

    Maybe that could be added in once online multiplayer comes into PvZ: Replanted later on... 😏
