Maybe this has already been reported and I truly don’t know even if it is working as intended so sorry if this has been answered before.
IIRC on the PS3 version and the iOS version Stinky continued to grab the Garden coins even after I left the screen but this is not happening on the PS5 version of Replanted. Is this a bug or this feature was removed?

Yea this really bothers me. Stinky is completely useless. I hope this is a big they will fix
I have been thinking about this for a long time as I had always wondered if Stinky used to collect coins for you when you would check back to the Zen Garden for a few minutes. Does that also happen in the OG game as well (I can only remember it happening in the mobile ports of PvZ1 so yeah I can't tell), but it would be refreshing to know!

Same here. Even despite after all the controversies Replanted had gone through last year, I still feel like PopCap is not yet done with PvZ Replanted as of yet.
They still have a lot of patches to implement in to the game because of how alive and active the community is for it.
