I don't know when but It seems like if you have the switch 1 version of plants vs zombies replanted, you will be able to claim the switch 2 version for free, the thing is, when I claimed it, it started me from the start and my save data from the switch 1 didn't carry over, I don't know if this is intentional or a bug or maybe because it's not an actual upgrade but rather a separate game

Hi, EA_Cath, I'm glad you're back after so long. I have a suggestion: How about creating a feature to export and import save files from other platforms via the cloud, just like in No Man's Sky?
It would work by linking all our accounts into one, allowing us to select which save file we want to upload or download for use on other platforms—which would be a huge help in maintaining continuous progress without having to start from scratch.

To be honest there's not any major differences besides Mouse Controls, GameShare and I think 60fps and better resolution so I guess it's not that big of a deal 🙂↕️
