Whack A Zombie Bug

Question

Just got to 2-5 (aka whack-a-zombie) and there seems to be a bug in which zombies teleport forward several tiles upon exiting a grave? Just caused me my first loss of the game. I’m playing on the Nintendo Switch 2 release, unsure if it’s a console specific bug.
