12-hour recharge on Merge icons???

Anyone else having trouble with Merge?  My kettle that throws the stuff for the potions, etc., and the graduation podium were at 11:59 HOUR recharges when I logged in this morning. I hadn't touched the games since before midnight last night, and I'm pretty sure my dog and cats weren't playing.  These 2 items were recharging at ONE MINUTE and 2 hours, respectively, when logged out last night.  TWELVE HOURS is a little over the top.  I will NOT use gems just to get past those recharge times. .  

Fluke?   Change in the game without telling anyone?  Pogo issue (now that would be a shocker, huh? UGH!)?
