I don't know who marked this as an "Accepted Solution". Those of us that are questioning this recent change don't see any solution here. We are asking that you put back into practice the ability to activate multiple marathon badges for different games simultaneously and to be able to deactivate/choose a different badge when a marathon or special event like GOTM is all for a single game. That is the way this worked for years up until about two months ago. Thank you.

I agree, it's a recent change that has no benefit for anyone.
Ever since Pogo started the back to back Marathons and Events we have always been able to activate multiple badges at once, as long as they were in different games. And members were always able to change their mind and activate something else if they wished. All of sudden this change is made, for no good reason, and we are just supposed to accept it.
I'd like to know why, after years of doing it one way, that it was changed. The only thing that it did for Pogo/EA was to make their members more unhappy than we already were.
I'm disheartened and a bit dismayed to read that the EA response is that "this is the way it was intended". This is a CHANGE to the way it has worked previously.
It is a change that works AGAINST the Pogo players' ability to work on and finish badges in a fun and expedient manner, with NO benefit to players.
I join the voices asking that it be changed back to the way it worked previously.
So you mark your own post as the solution. Wish I could file my taxes and say "yep, that is 100% correct".... I'd be a billionaire.
Perhaps I should go commit a crime and be my own judge and jury to. I like that thought process.

You can mark your own post as an ACCEPTABLE SOLUTION, however one is unable to grant themselves XP on post. Interesting.
How about a simple explanation on WHY it was changed from being able to activate different game challenges within a marathon (BTW, from HOW it has always been) to being unable to do so. Do you/EEA/someone have any believable reason that they are willing to share? Or is it just a "this is how we have now designed it and it is work as designed. And we will ignore how it used to be and ALWAYS worked. Take it or leave it." Is that now EA/Pogo's attitude?

Instead of just telling us this is the way it is designed to be, maybe you can tell us why it was "changed" to be designed this way. Because I can tell you it certianly didn't start this way and it is a horrible change. I have said this in the forum & I will repeat it here. People are human, they make mistakes, so EA wants them to now be penalized now for clicking on the wrong thing & having no way to get out of it, so very wrong. You have alot of people including tons of 20 year members very angry over so many issues, does this really need to be another one of them? Just put the coding back to the way it was, simple! I would think a company would be trying to keep their customers and not be so dismissive of them & their concerns.This is NOT an acceptable solution at all, you really need to unmark that & let the team how many people are upset by their change!
