I finished the 10 task right before the 24 hours were up. I didn't click claim and when it started over I never received the rewards. So if we don't click claim right away we lose the prizes? Other games when the task finishes the rewards you had are there when you come back.
I do not know about the situation you are describing, but I can tell you that I have clicked to Claim rewards, but waited to open the red gift box until the next day. When I returned and clicked the box it then gave me all of the rewards. While I'm not a big fan of the crates taking up valuable real estate, I definitely prefer being able to decide WHEN I want the extra crates, instead of suddenly having more than I can open at that moment and losing the opportunity to get more over the next 40 minutes.
