Hello! Sorry to hear about your issue with the Jungle Gin game abruptly stopping and watching others having the ability to play is equally as frustrating.
What you are experiencing infrequently/frequently could be a variety of things and will require you to thoroughly evaluate your device.
Pogo/EA is unable to access the internal mechanics of our devices for privacy and security concerns. Consequently, we will encounter numerous self-help resources when facing system-related challenges.
Additional Checks:
Update Your Graphics Driver: Troubleshooting graphics on PC
An outdated or faulty graphics driver can cause various issues. Try updating your graphics driver by going to Device Manager>Display adapters, right clicking your adapter and select "Update Driver" (it will tell you if it needs it or not)
Updates: Ensure you have the latest update and patches for your system. Our computers have several programs running all at once, on occasion if one is trying to update behind the scenes this could cause a lag in performance.
Windows 10 users will need to research online "The End of Windows 10 in 2025" and how this may affect them now and in the future.
Adjust Your Monitor Refresh Rate: Lower your monitors refresh rate to 60Hz.
Right-click the desktop screen and go to: Display Settings > Advanced Display > Refresh Rate > 60 Hz.
Disable GPU Hardware Acceleration: Right-click the desktop screen and go to: Display Settings > Graphics > Change default settings and turn off hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.
Pogo App: If you have installed the Pogo app on your devices, log out of Pogo remove the app and try reinstalling it and log back in. I personally do not have the app installed on my laptop, so it is possible to play with or without the app.
Try a Different Browser: If the problem persists, try using a different browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.
Check your Hardware Compatibility: Make sure your device meets the minimum requirements for Pogo. You need at least 8GB of RAM. Not having enough memory can make webpages slow to load, timeout and exit abruptly.
High CPU or RAM Usage: Close any unnecessary applications running in the background that might be consuming resources.
Power Cycling: Unplug your router, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then plug it back in. This rebooting helps clear the cache on the router.
A slow or unstable internet connection can cause games to freeze. Check the quality of your Ethernet Cable (CAT cable) to ensure you are getting top speed from your provider.
