EA just made an announcement that they have been notified of the slow response time by the robot player at the Jungle Gin HD game. They will investigate and correct it. Below is the link to the announcement.

UPDATE:  The problem with the slow response time from the robot player has been corrected.  The game runs very fast now compared to before.  Also, the place for discarding the cards is now visible as well.

  • Why is the robot SO SLOW in the new Jungle Gin HD?  Are there any plans to speed it up?  A person can go to sleep trying to play the robot and there aren't enough players yet to play with a real person.

  • @abc466319357,  I also encountered the same slow game play problem experienced by player abc466319357 while playing the new Jungle Gin HD game.

I had cleared the cache of my browser (Google Chrome latest version) immediately before playing.  Therefore, a full browser cache is not the explanation in my case.

I use Windows 10 and have 8GB of RAM. Therefore, incompatible computer requirements is not the explanation in my case.

I also returned later using MS Edge and encountered the same slow play as before. Therefore, the use of one particular browser is not the explanation in my case.

I played the game against the computer, or robot as it is called in this game. The response time for the robot was excessive to say the least. The amount of wait time varied. I found it lasted between 5 seconds and 15 seconds, but usually it lasted over 10 seconds for me. That is unacceptable.  It's like playing a game in slow motion. Something is not right.  I'm hoping this is just a temporary condition.

I also had trouble at first trying to find the discard pile for the cards.  There is no visible indication of where it is.  I found the discard pile location by placing a discarded card in an empty space to right of the available pile of cards, which is normally where the cards are placed.  This is a minor issue, but a rectangular border for the discard pile would be nice to have.  Maybe this can be added later as an upgrade.

UPDATE: The problem with the slow response time from the robot player has been corrected. The game runs very fast now compared to before. Also, the place for discarding the cards is now visible too.

  • EA fix your new games Gin is way to slow and blitez won't load. We pay for these games, and there are many more sites with games on them. You're going to loss a lot of players which means you're going to loss lots of MONEY.

@mssidney5, The slow response time of the robot player that occurred yesterday at the Jungle Gin HD game was corrected a few hours after it was reported by players. It's working great now.
