Merge Academy - Softlocked at Chapter 4

I am having this issue as well.  Says there is something new to click on, but nothing there & won't let me do anything else with the game.   Can't move on to the next level until click on the object that isn't there.  Clicked everything in the screen & nothing happens.

Chapter 5 still won't load and judging from the above replies it's a problem on your end POGO/EA.  Please address ASAP.

I finished the weekly challenge at 2:05 am. I need one item to complete the required 15 orders. I had to buy gems, then buy seeds, or coins to unfreeze the cauldron for books. I checked my album and I was not awarded the badge. If I had know I wasn't going to get the badge I would never have stayed up that late or bought the gems. I have been a member since 2002. Is there a way I might be able to be awarded the badge?

Mine isn't working right either. It keeps telling me there is something new to click on, but there is nothing there

I am having the same issues as well, even after doing all the troubleshooting 

Issued started September 16.  Screen lock in Chapter 4.  Cannot click on anything.  Haven't been able to do anything else in the game (including collecting items from map) since 3:30p on 09/16 (missed 2 collections already).  Trying to find link to report issue to POGO.  Not having much success.  Only good thing about game locking is that I am saving money not buying gems to play the game.

Mine froze up when I leveled up to chapter 4. I have the weekly challenge to finish as well as a spin to win challenge. Its been 3 days now and I can only open the game. Can't collect 12 hour rewards,  change between chapters, buy energy or coins or play. So frustrating!

Merge Academy froze 5 days ago too...on chapter 4 .  Do you fix these things ever?  I am in the middle of 2 challenges!  BTW my screen name is Happy96, Dg061396 is old.  Please fix it's been 10 days now.

MIne is doing the same. 5 days now. Frustrating because I spent 700 gems for the badge to get here and now it does nothing. I even started it in a different browser.
