Whenever I select a free item in "Merge Academy", Chapter-1, Scene-1, the game gives me an error message: "Unfortunately, your progress could not be saved. Do you want to try saving it again?". It then resets the game and I lose all my stored energy.
Same here for the past few days. As well as it taking my energy for some reason when I click it.
Same with me. The rest of the game seems ok, but can't access free items.
Yes, same here it will not allow me to collect my option of free energy just says progress could not be saved & gives option to restart but same issue without resolution for the past 3 days. Hope they fix glitch asap!

I am also having this issue along with many others. This was a problem that happened pretty frequently when the game started; I assume it has returned because of updates made to the game in one way or another. One way to get around this annoying bug is to just click and scroll to retrieve your other freebies and ignore the trash can for the time being. Hopefully, they will update all of us via the forums when the problem is resolved; until then, I would ignore the trash can.
I was surprised and delighted when I discovered this new game on pogo. I have been a member since 2005 so I have seen many changes. Some of my favorite games have been replaced and I was not a happy pogo member for a while. The old chat rooms were tremendous fun, all gone.
However, this game revived me a bit and here we all are...........so many glitches leaving us with no energy and limited gameplay. Why is it taking so long to fix the game issues?
How to do that? I can't find a way around ignoring trash can.
Same here. Does Pogo have anyone monitoring this forum so that it gets addressed? I can't see any other way of contacting them to report the issue.
lindersmIf you are on the main screen with the trash can, left click and hold down on anything except the trash can (so for example, on the gated archway). Drag your mouse downward so that the screen goes up. You will then be able to start collecting other freebies. You'll get through the rest of the rooms in the same way: by clicking and dragging. If you are on an iPad or phone, it might be slightly different, but you should be able to use two fingers and swipe down to get the screen to go up.
