Pogo account

I had an account with pogo for a long time (20 + years).  I created a new pogo account because I didn't think I could get my other one back. It tied the new one to my EA account. I then was able to retrieve my original pogo account.  When I got it, it sent me an e-mail asking me to change my password, and then it told me to enter an e-mail. I put the same e-mail in that it just sent my password update to, but it said I had to chose a different one because that email was now tied to the new pogo account that connected to my EA account with that password.  I rushed to cox.net to create a new email, so I could get set up with my old pogo account.  After I created an email (so I thought), I went to verify it.  I went back to my email to see if I got it.  It said I didn't have that email. I contacted cox, and they told me they stopped allowing new cox emails in September. I then went and updated the email to yahoo, but I am not receiving anything.  I am trying to get EA to help me.  Every time I email them, I get people responding to me apologizing to me and asking how many coins I lost.  I have been asked that three time and not once did I write to them about coins.  I have talked with them in chat several times.  Either their systems are down, and they want me to try back later, or they tell me I don't have the information.  I have offered to send them the email showing where it asked for me to change my password which If they didn't request it, it would have still been set up with a verified email.  I have offered to send them copies of my bank statement to show where I have purchased the upgrade. I have offered to send my drivers license to prove who I am and help me get my pogo account connected to the EA account I use.  I have looked on EA about getting help with this, and it states that they can delete accounts you dont' want and help you get your stuff on the EA account you use yet they aren't willing to do it for me.  I don't know what to do now because I only had the one server email, and this yahoo email wont' work. Now origin wont' let me in unless I type in a code.

Update:  I was finally able to get a call back from EA, and they have fixed my issue.

  • Btw, I got 3 emails from EA telling me I got badges for making my first post, replying to a post, and a newbie badge.  These I get, but not an email to verify account.

    @Phantomlover1717 Thank you. I found the post on yahoo when searching my issue, and I could relate. So, I wanted to share my frustration. =)
  • I am stuck, and don't know what to do.  I have an ea account associated with my e-mail. On October 30th, I decided to return to pogo after not playing there for like 5 years. I ended up creating a new pogo account. This pogo account this got connected to my ea account and email on that account.

    Moments later, my husband said he got his old pogo account back.  I then tried to retrieve mine. I got an email to change the password. I changed the password.  I then was told to enter an email address. I did not have another email address.  My server allows 5 email addresses.  I went to my server, and created a username which creates a email address.  I then went back to pogo, and put in this email I just created.. I was able to get in my game.  When I got in my pogo account, and clicked on my account, and went to confirm it, I went back to my server to retrieve the email.  When I went there, it said I had no email. I contacted my server provided, and they told me that we can create user accounts, but could not longer create emails.  So, I contacted Ea, and a person there told me how to change my email address.  It still will not allow me to verify email address, as I don't get an email.

    Now, here is the weird thing.  I kept chatting with Ea, and was continuously told to get back with them that they can't access my account. I then reached out by email, but some communication errors they weren't understanding what I was saying.  I then reached out by phone. I got a hold of a real nice person trying to help me last Friday, but he said they couldn't find my pogo account either.  Even though I was in it, playing on it, paid for it.  He told me to call back Monday.  I go to EA now, there is no option for me to hit chat.  I hit phone. It says 0 wait time, they will not call me.  I see that the email address that I changed on it is reverted back to the one that does not exist.  

    Not only this.  This is my POGO account, yet when I click on account, I did not chose this EA account, my info is incorrect.  I don't know how to fix anything. I can't seem to talk with anyone that understands the issue.

    If I would not have created a new pogo account, when I retrieved my old pogo account, my email would have been available and I wouldn't have this problem.

    I have tried attaching my email where it shows that the password change came to my email account. I have attached a picture of my bank statements showing where I have paid for this account for several years.  I can't get anyone to listen to me, and help me, and now I don't even have an option to chat with them, or get a call. I don't understand what is going on. Why I am being treated this way for simply trying to get full access to my own account.

    What do I do?

    I have an EA account with a pogo account that I don't need, and I have a pogo account that I have had for 20 years connected to an EA account that I don't need.

    I am sorry, I didn't know where to go to get help.

    The other day I was getting replies to my email about the board, now I am not getting that either. =(.

    I see a way for me to hit on your post to accept as issue fixed.  Is that what I would click to show my issues have been resolve?

  • How can I create a new account so I can get back to my old account Y IN THE HELL IS THIS SO HARD TO get it fixed pogo SCREWED it up I lost all my rewards friends list u r on that end where u can get in it better then me

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your account, you shouldn't have to create a new account there may just be an issue logging in on your main account.

    Sadly we can't help with account issues directly here on the forum, but if you follow this link here Manage my Pogo Account  you can can get in touch with EA Support via Chat or Email and they will be able to look into this for you and get you sorted.

    Considering this thread has been inactive for several years I'm going to go ahead and close it off to prevent any additional necro posting.
