I contacted EA Help Support last night. Made a case and talked to an agent/rep. I was probably the first one to let them there was an issue. I reset my whole computer before contacting EA/Help. The rep and I were online help chat for quite some time as he finally told me that there is nothing on could do anymore on my end. He was going to send my information and screenshots to show what was going on to the team that deals with this.
I really thought it was just me. I troubleshooted everything I knew how to do already. I am very aware of information as I have been on Pogo since January 2003.
My EA account ID is different from Pogo screen name since they made us create an EA account. I know how to change it but would rather not. This is the first time I have posted in this forum. I usually only post in Pogo Forum.
I was on Edge windows 10 and my husband was on Google Chrome. It didn't happen to him being Google Chrome last night. However, it did it to him on Google Chrome today. My husband always comes in the chat, and the greeting is "Hi Babe". I tried to reply "Hi Hun" like I always do. I immediately got the hashtag and from then on, everything I typed was hashtags. I was in Tri Peaks Solitaire.
I have tried both Edge and Google Chrome to see if it would make a difference and it didn't.
This morning, I looked to see if anyone posted anything in Pogo Forums. I am only in Pogo. I found a post who had the same issue last night around the same time frame. I posted next, then other chimed in as well.
So, there are several of us that are having the issue; so, it is strictly not just us players needing to "troubleshoot".
EA Help was aware of this issue last night.
