Purchase / Unlock Bookworm Deluxe

Hello,

We recently had a hard drive fail and had to replace it.  For years we have enjoyed Bookworm Deluxe.

On the new PC I have downloaded and installed Bookworm Deluxe.  After the original 60 minutes of play it requires purchase/registration.

Choosing "Buy Now" results in "An error occurred while connecting to the POPCAP web site to purchase the game"

Verified that we are connected to the web.

How do we get a unlock code?

    Hi @i9260vrmktwf 

    Thanks for the additional details, It sounds like the copy you had from the older storage drive is a trial version. 

    In this case, you would need to have a CD copy (with a CD Key) or have owned a digital copy on your EA account. However, if you do not have either currently then you will be unable to fully access Bookworm as the game itself was delisted years ago and is no longer available for purchase. 

    Due to this, you will not be able to purchase a new copy of Bookworm.

    Hi @i9260vrmktwf 

    To confirm to initial install Bookworm to your Hard Driver, did you use a CD or the EA app (PC client) to digitally download it?

    In copied the installation from another computer and then reinstalled it.  I also downloaded it and installed.  Both resulted in a free trial period and then requires purchase.  Selecting the purchase option tries to connect to a site that cannot be reached.

    I can't find the game on the EA site.  I would gladly pay the 19.95 indicated on the must purchase window if I could just make it work.
