Rainy Day Spider Solitaire a card will freeze

Dead card in Spider Solitaire

When I play Spider Solitaire on either my Windows 10 laptop or MacBook Air, more and more frequently these days I will get a dead card that cannot be moved. It makes the game unfinishable and forces me to restart the game. You can tell that the card is dead because it doesn't highlight when you mouseover, and it is not grabbable.

I've had the same problem lately. Noticed it yet yesterday but thought maybe I had just played the game too much. Just happened again as soon as I started playing the game. Very frustrating.
