Re: lag on jigsaw treasure hunter

Same here and it happens on other games sometimes too.  Playing (albeit very laggy) and poof, the screen goes away.  At least on Jigsaw it saves most of your progress.

I've tried the troubleshooting.  I've emptied my cache.  I've run the compatibility tool and other than no java it seems fine.

I'm happy that the Java is going away but if this isn't working then what are we paying for?

    Thanks so much! The info looks good from my side. Before I send this over to the Pogo team, have you had a chance to try another browser yet? I'd like to rule out it being specific to Firefox.

  • @EA_Arrenai I tried on Microsoft Edge again just now and several minutes in... blank screen. Edge is slow as molasses on that game too.

    Just to confirm, which version of Microsoft Edge are you using? Is Edge Legacy (blue e) or Edge Chromium (blue-green wave)?

  • @EA_Arrenai Blue-green wave. BTW it just crapped out on me while doing the daily challenge for Sweet Tooth Town the same way Jigsaw Hunter does.

    Hey there, @Player_g7njt7je.

    I have an update from the Pogo team and we'd like to try a few things.

    First, can you turn on your hardware acceleration? Instructions will be the last section in the HTML5 troubleshooting.

    Once you've turned on your hardware acceleration, can you make a GPU report from your Microsoft Edge? To do that, go to edge://gpu/ and copy the information to clipboard using the button at the top. From there, paste it into a Notepad file, save, and attach it to a reply post here on the forums. From there, I'll be happy to take a look.

  • @EA_Arrenai I had acceleration on already and I rarely use Edge, I use Firefox. If I am forced to use Edge, I will be cancelling my subscription instead.

    Hey there, @Player_g7njt7je.

    I understand. There is a known issue with Chrome and Edge, which is why we went down that rabbit hole. As I know you initially played on Firefox and experienced the same issues, then it wouldn't be specifically that, but if your Edge does have the same behavior as explained in the link, going through that troubleshooting may make the game playable in the meantime.

    As for the rest, I'll go ahead and send this to the Pogo team. Thank you very much for your report.
