Re: Pogo Daily Sudoku 'streak' issue not answered

The day after I posted, the game started remembering my progress again.  I now have a streak of 5 days and am hoping that continues but not entirely confident.

I guess I spoke too soon; it's forgetting my progress again.  I got 6 days at the end of December; it's only remembered that I was in the room on Jan 1.  I used a key to buy Jan 2 and did all games for Jan 3, including the trophy game, but those are gone.

I think I missed going into the room on Jan 2 which is why i unlocked it.  I also tried to continue my streak.  I bought 7 flames for 20 gems.  I thought it only cost one flame to continue a streak, if you've only missed one day.  However, when I had to reload the game after it timed out or something, it asked me again about continuing the streak.  I should have known it was not likely to continue the streak, no matter what I did, but I figured I'd use one of the flames I just bought to continue it earlier.  However, I found I didn't have any flames at all.  Does that mean it costs 7 flames to extend your streak one day?  That was surprising to me.  How is this supposed to work?  I went ahead and bought 7 more flames and extended my streak, completed a game and was told I had 8 days.  However, when I go back in now, it asks again if I want to buy the 7th day of the streak and it shows I have no flames.  So, I spent 14 flames and got no additional days?  My gem total was 752 at start of today and is now at 712, so the gems were used.

I also found Jan 2 was locked again, so I lost a key, too.

Please fix this again and restore at least my nascent streak of 8 days.  Or you could make it a ton more since I've been in all but 2-3 days since you started the streaks and I've bought and tried to use enough flames to bridge a lot more days, I think.

I reloaded the game One More Time, and attached the streak message that has greeted me a few times today.  It does say to restore 1 day of streak, it only costs 1 flame.  So, since I bought 7 flames twice and used only two in attempts to restore my streak, I should have 12 flames -- or, better yet, 13 and a restored streak.  However, I have none and my streak is still broken.

Feeling discouraged...

I'm not sure what you want a video clip or screenshot of, but I know how to make them and am willing.

It is still not remembering my progress and I still own 0 flames.  I have played at least one game each day this month.

Just now, I played today's Beginner game and saw that I got credit.  Afterwards, I reloaded the game and went back in.  The credit for the beginner game was gone and I'm back to it asking me if I want to buy flames to cover my missed streak.

I'm including screen shots showing:

• calendar after I did the Beginner game and earned 3 stars, Screenshot 2024-01-11 at 9.45.43 PM.png; it shows 5 stars as it apparently remembered 2 stars from a trophy game at the beginning of the month
• calendar after reloading the game, Screenshot 2024-01-11 at 9.49.25 PM.png; it's forgotten that I've done the Beginner game and I'm back to 2 stars again

Note that the file names include the times of the screenshots, so you can tell the last screenshot was taken at 9:49pm, well after the shot taken at 9:45pm that shows I did the Beginner game.

I probably played all 5 games on Jan 1; occasionally, it remembers that I was in the game on a particular day without remembering that I also did the games; not sure why that happens.

• the calendar when I first opened the game -- looks exactly like calendar after reloading the game
• the Beginner game all but done
• my 1 Day streak from today (and which I have gotten 60-90 times over the last few months)

Let me know what else you might need.  Hope someone can figure this out.

I just went back to the game just now and it's forgotten that I was in the game at all yesterday; I've attached a screenshot where it shows Jan 11 is locked now.  Of course, it was unlocked in the screenshots I showed you yesterday.

My routine is to go in daily, just long enough to see if it's remembering me again and to do the Beginner puzzle, to see if it will be remembered the next day.  Sometimes, I get bored with the Beginner one and do the expert one instead.
