Since you're playing on an iPad, here are a few steps that usually help clear things up:
- Fully close Safari (or your browser of choice), not just the tab
- Go to Settings > Safari and clear History and Website Data
- Make sure your iPad software and browser are up to date
- Restart the device — a full reboot can help apply the changes cleanly
