Solitaire Home Story

How can Pogo start a new season without having updated the game and having enough chapters to finish the story line? I have paid for the season pass and feel robbed of earning the power ups and other rewards I'm entitled to. There are 21 days left in the pass and I don't want to play the coin round. I want to play the story line. How long does it take Pogo to update their games?
