Sweet Tooth Town constantly freezing

In the Sports Tailgate Party Bingo Jam event, one of the challenges is obtaining candy swirls in Sweet Tooth Town. We are forced to play in sweet play mode or the swirls don't count. The game freezes which it has done for quite some time but to play in this mode, it's constant which is ridiculous and prevents us from obtaining the rewards. A lot of members are complaining. This problem happens no matter what device I use.

I am computer savvy so yes I have cleared cache, cookies, etc.

When playing sugar crush on merge academy you get a yellow energy awarded after releasing a block. it does not credit me with the yellow energy won on merger. Where did the award go?

I see this post is from 2 months ago but this is still happening and its very frustrating. I am trying to complete my challenge for lucky spinner event and i cant complete week 3 because of the sweet play issues and I'm going to lose the event. This is not okay especially since I pay for my Pogo account. Does anyone know when this is going to be fixed?
