Washington State interactive ad never ends - stops play

I waited a while to address this issue formally, as I thought others would alert tech support, but it's been nearly a month ...

The interactive ad for Washington State tourism never ends.  When it appears, sometimes between games, sometimes mid-game, there is no way for it to end. There is no "skip this ad" arrow or even a "wait for it to end" resolve. It just stays there. I've even tried interacting with it! and nothing. It brings me new windows, but none of them end or allow the initial screen ad to resolve or go away and for play to resume.  I now consider it a dead-end and I restart Pogo.com if it appears, as many times as necessary until I get some other ad.  But it's annoying.  I can't be doing anything wrong, since I have tried more than once to  just let it run as long as it wants.  My computer shuts down and it's still there.  Something is wrong, some code is missing, something.

    HI @Player_l0g238pw Thanks for the additional information, If we are on an older device that does not get updates this can lead to issues with playing Pogo games. Do you have a device that is updated to test on? 

    Can you check if your device meets the Requirements (<-- click here) to play POGO games?

    Can you try going through the following steps and let us know if you continue running into issues after? 

       

    • Restart your device and modem/router then try to load your game    
    • Clear your Cache/Cookies (<-- link)  
    • Check your Device (<-- Link) for updates, Check for Browser (<-- link) Updates    

    If you continue to run into issues Please Let us Know what device and browser your using, as well as share a Screenshot or video clip of the Error as well as a DxDiag(PC) / System Info (Mac) of your device and we, can share this with the team.

  • It's been going on for about a month - so I've done all this numerous times. I don't  have the latest browser, however, as my computer is old and won't allow the browser to update.  But it happens across browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
