why do I have to use my gems to play my games
I like playing all the games want to know on Wednesday they have the games I like but i have to use my gems why

Which games? Pogo has always had free weekly challenges and challenges/badges you can purchase. If you’re talking about power-ups, there is never a need to purchase them to win a game. I never buy power ups, I play levels until I can win without using power ups.
