World Class Solitaire Glitch
I'm still on Pogo Classic, playing WCS for the weekly badge. The game plays just fine aside from this glitch. When I last played a couple of months ago, I encountered this glitch, but ignored it and hoped it would be fixed before I played again, but it's still there.
What happened is when it was time to select a new city, my origin was Turkey and my choices were Easter Island, Kathmandu, and Australia (Sydney?). The Australia popup up to tell you the city name and how many games you have to play, etc. is almost entirely off screen. Last time, I went ahead and chose Easter Island, like I said in hopes the glitch would be fixed before I played again. Well, I've finished Easter Island and the Australia glitch is still there. I can touch the edge of the Play button, so I guess I can play Australia, but it would be really nice to be able to see the popup. I tried reducing the screen size to 75% and even 50%, but since the entire window reduced, the popup is still off screen.
I'm on a PC with Windows 10, and I've tried Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, all with the same results. My screen resolution is 1024 x 768. I wanted to report this as a bug via chat or something, but Help wouldn't give me any option except Answers HQ; so I hope this will get to someone who can do something about it. Thanks.
Update: I did click on the edge of the play button and started the game for Australia. I lost the first game, and when I clicked "new game", it took me back to Easter Island and I had to choose Australia again. Then I won the next game and when I clicked to play again, it still took me back to Easter Island. I clicked on the Australia play button again. The game opened and it does show the previous win (the star at the top is colored in). I had to re-select the Australia play button each time, whether I won or lost. (I guess it was a "continue" button, but I couldn't see it.) When I finally won three games, it gave me the stamps. It is giving me the next cities to choose from, so I don't think I'll have any problems until I circle the globe again. This is in Chrome.
@nla8712, To address your first problem of not being able to see the full pop-up Australia square to open the game, there are 2 options available to click on green CONTINUE button for opening the solitaire card game for Sydney, Australia until the glitch in the game is corrected.
Option 1 Using the normal screen size view: Because the pop-up square for Australia is not fully visible on the normal size screen, you will have to click on the very left-most edge of the green CONTINUE button which is barely visible. Doing so does open the card game for Australia. From reading your comment, you discovered this already.See the screen shot below which shows the very left most tip of the green CONTINUE button, although you cannot see the word CONTINUE in the view. Also notice the orange square I added around the expanding arrows icon. This is where to click to widen the screen for Option 2 next.
Option 2 Using the expanded size or full screen size view: If you click on the icon with expanding arrows in the upper right corner of the Normal screen view (see orange square in the screen shot above), the normal screen view will open to the expanded or full screen view. Once using this expanded view of the game screen, the Australia pop-up square and the green CONTINUE button are both fully visible. This is what you want from reading your comments. See the screen shot belowOnce the game has started you can either play using the Expanded view screen or you can return to the Normal screen size by clicking on the arrows icon (now pointing inward). The game should not close by making the screen size smaller.
I experienced the glitch of not seeing the full Australia pop-up square using Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. I never tried using Mozilla Firefox but I am unable to try now because I have moved on to another location in the game.
Regarding the second problem you discussed of being returned to Easter Island when you wanted to continue to play at Australia, I have not had the unfortunate experience of that happening once I reached Australia. I was able to stay in Australia until I completed all the stars needed to finish the tour there.
