I never expected that I would one day register on the EA forums because of a mobile game, but here we are.
What is going on with Service 2.0?
You provided enough police, fire, and hospital buildings to fully upgrade and rebuild our cities. While it is frustrating to completely rearrange a well-designed city because of this concept, at least those systems are functional.
However, the real problems begin with electricity, water, garbage, and sewage services. I have one main city and three additional regions. The provided items and the 300k Simoleons were sufficient for the main city and one region only.
What about the remaining regions? They are now sitting at 5% satisfaction. The costs to rebuild everything are extremely high. The 300k was already gone after rebuilding the main city, forcing me to spend my own Simoleons. Yesterday I had 300k, one main city, and three regions at 100% satisfaction. Today I have 0k and two regions at 5%. This makes no sense.
Additionally, you stated that renovations would be paused for a while. Service 2.0 became available for me today, yet one of my cities has more than 10 buildings stuck on “Renovating”.
Frankly, this update is unacceptable. I play around 30 minutes every day, I own a Season Pass, and I have continued to support the game despite many questionable decisions over the past few months. Service 2.0 is by far the worst update so far and feels like a complete failure.
I expect compensation for the Simoleons and items I was forced to spend due to this poorly implemented update. 300k Simoleons and countless items are simply gone because this update was clearly not tested properly.
Most of us have jobs and real lives. A game like this should be something enjoyable to play casually, not a frustrating experience every time the app is opened.
Please explain how you plan to compensate long-term players for this situation. I expect a refund of the Simoleons spent due to this update, as well as my items and SimCash
