DOWNGRADE 2.0 - THE GREED FACTOR
Not only were purchased values stolen, but as many are noticing the COST OF EVERYTHING IS INCREASED.
After the 13M simoleans, thousands of omega, and thousands of regional dollars spent to rebalance the perfectly balanced cities, the cost of everything is HIGHER and the rewards LOWER.
Additionally, cities with no activity from wars or disasters, remain needy.
Cities that are finally back in balance suddenly need more services every several days. The math keeps CHANGING.
All of this is simply a greedy push to spend more money.
These behaviors are typical of a company that is either going under or planning to end the game after grabbing all they can.

This is exactly why the 'Stop Killing Games' initiative is gaining ground. We are essentially investing in thin air. Once EA pulls the plug on the servers, all that time and money vanishes because we don't actually 'own' what we've bought. Since this update can't be undone and has fundamentally broken the game's balance, it feels beyond repair. Everyone is learning that lesson the hard way—the real question is: will players remember this next time they're asked to open their wallets?
