Black Friday event not collecting plumbobs

When you click of the information icon of the event track you can see that you can only collect the plumbobs when you buy with real money 

Nope, it's not tallying from purchases either. 

Which purchases have you made? Not all purchases award plumbob points.

I never spend real money on the game

It's yet another pay to win cash grab. I for one isn't buying it.

After the debacle of the 10 year Anniversary events I'm dead against spending anything on this game. 

Congratulations EA your business model is driving away once loyal customers and that cannot last.

yet another reason I'm really looking forward to the new owner coming in.

Could you outline what challenges you've been completing so far that you were expecting plumbobs from?
