Cannot connect rail to bridge or cross rail with road

This is the only way you can do what you want to do, leave a space for and rail then join them up

2 Problems:

In “Green Valley”, I just can't connect a railroad to a bridge. I can trace the rail up to the railroad bridge but just can't connect them together. Please see picture provided.

In "Sunny Isles," the roads just get cut when crossing a railroad. I've tried many times to redraw those roads but just can't make them cross a railroad. Again, please see picture provided.

I've tried several times to communicate with EA. If you needed more infos, please do not hesitate.
