yes, you should get the reward as soon as you log into the game or within 10 seconds. 

if you've never received the reward even though it says you did, I would have to think that you're logging into the store with a different email than what is attached to your city. you might want to check into that. if you have another city somewhere, it's possible that that one has a lot of simcash waiting to pick up.

At the top of the store page you will see an Account Number - that is your player ID. It should match the player ID you see in the game itself.

Where do i find my player id in the game?

Thanks,  I think you must be right,  I have only one game.  I need to find out what my player id is in the game.  Don’t know where to find that though.

I found my player id in the game.  It is not the same as what shows when i login to the claims page.  I will resolve that somehow, thanks to all for the help!

that's great. now I'm really curious, did you used to play on a different device? I did not know it was possible to log in to the game with one account yet had log into the store with a different one.

No, same device.  I see what happened now.  On the EA website for the free gift I signed in with my Apple account because it only let’s you sign in with either Google Play (don’t have), Apple or Facebook (Don’t want to).  there is no option sign in with my EA account.  So, I guess I have to logout of my game and create an acct with my Apple login.

So apparently my Apple ID is associated with another city.  So, I can’t use that to sign in to the game.

Any idea how i can disassociate and delete the other city?  Is there a customer support for EA games? Like a real person?
