Error 17

Thank you, I am playing on the app, IPad, I have good WiFi, every other app works great, I stream Netflix and other, server connection to EA, don’t know how to fix that, I clean, shut down, nothing works 

Thank you, you are right about all the effects, specially bad during War, you try to fire but you can’t, have to wait a minute or restart the game, I’m playing for 10 years plus…it was never that bad, it all started with this stupid service update

This problem has been going on for months and EA does nothing to resolve it. Constant restarts are necessary and I am fed up with it. Reinstalling the game does not resolve it. It happens when there is no action on my part for 2 minutes, every time. It effects CoM, trains, global, war access just to mention a few.

Error 17 is a connection error to the EA server.

It seems it takes to long time to collect the finished com orders and the connection to the EA server breaks down.

Try following:

Close SimCity 

Clear the cache of simcity, not the data

Open it new

Could be that in the cache are old datas or missing datas which blockes the connection to one of the EA servers
