Food for thought
EA -
Instead of handcuffing the players by reducing points earned in the Contest of Mayors, and the Mayors Pass - and so you say you have given us a path to easier earning these rewards - these rewards are hardly of use to us seasoned players. This is where the real issue is.
Most, if not all of the Mayors Pass rewards have no real value. ie seasonal currency, expanding of beach and mountain properties, gold tickets, money grab offers, useless war items.
You want to make this game a better game - give us something that we can use.
After playing for over 12 years just about all of our mountain and beach properties have been developed. We cannot use more of these. Gold tickets, we have over 20,000 gold tickets - of no use. Just like the seasonal shop where one can buy items with seasonal currency - the first three are money grabs. The next items could be thought of as collecting if they had more of an impact on population but they do not given your defunct idea of a progressed utility, EMS services.
The other day we updated one property in Cactus Canyon and this put us behind the eight-ball on regional coverage despite the fact that we have a Deluxe Gas Station siting right beside the property we upgraded.
Next up speed up tokens - we have earned so many of these tokens that we now would never need to purchase one. We have hundreds of each of these tokens. Even the daily video's - the prizes awarded for watching these videos are turned around by selling them on the market because they are for players trying to start out or continuing to develop their cities and not for seasoned players.
Get the theme here EA - you continue to award items that seasoned players can not use. And you keep changing the rules for the COM, the Mayors Pass to "make it better or easier" for us to earn these useless items.
In less than two days; after these "new rules" were released, you are beginning to see feedback in a negative way. We just sit and wonder what "wonderful" idea is EA going to come up with next.
