When accessing service menu… choosing items in stock, or applying roadways or fixing roadways, the screen freezes in black background with some elements and is not responsive. This since latest update… tried deleting and reinstalling to iPad twice and nothing changed… oddly problem does not occur on other cities….. WTF?
Me too. Roads, services, anything in my capital. I am really close to quitting. It’s been like this for 2 months.
Same thing here. Uninstalling reintalling did the tric for one evening but the bug was back next Morning. Anybody knows of a permanent fix?
This has been going on for months. It used to be pink pixels but with the recent iPadOS upgrade turned black. EA are ignoring the bug as usual. You have to restart the game, sometimes several times. EA don’t care about iPad users.
Where do we find how to fix the issue of the black background on the city?
iPad user and still having the same issue. Can’t build houses. Frustrating.
I’m having a similar issue. Everything works fine except for taking actions in the Capitol city. iOS, iPad. Any services crash the game immediately.
This problem has been around for months. EA are able to create new opportunities to spend your money, but are unable (or unwilling) to fix an issue which restricts your ability to actually do what the game is about: Build It.

I had pink pixels, then purple and now black. I’d really like green (sarcasm) against black.
