Design challenge unplayable on 10th generation iPad.
There have been a lot of posts about the game freezing when you try to move buildings or fix roads, etc. Today I’m trying to play the design challenge and it has become completely unplayable because it freezes up and does that weird purple and black pixel thing every time I try to do anything! I can’t change a road, I can’t place a building, I can’t put a tree anywhere, nothing. I’ve deleted the game and reinstalled it twice, and I still can’t do anything in design challenge. The game is working pretty well and only freezes occasionally in my capital city and the other regions but today for some reason, the design challenge just went haywire. My City is 3/4 done for the challenge and now I can’t finish it to submit it. Anyone else having the same issue? Today is Saturday, November 8, 2025.21Views0likes0Commentsupgrade Storage button missing

What a surprise to reach tier 38 in this latest mayor's pass season and find the final reward has been reduced from 550 to 150 sim cash. It seems like the latest blow in making the mayor's pass more about jumping through hoops for little reward and less about the activities of building great cities. I know I'm not alone in this view. Other members of my club have expressed their frustration -- both at that particular reward and at the increasingly convoluted rules for "earning" seasonal currency. Converting pumpkins into one of TWO currencies? Spinning roulette wheels from a season or two back? C'mon. It feels like a lot of jumping through hoops that seems to have less and less reward while distracting from the joy of the simulation that has attracted so many of us to the app. I understand the game changes and grows over time. The shift with golden tickets didn't make sense to me at the introduction, but yeah, it's fairly irritation-neutral. I still haven't upgraded the "new" country store and other additions to their full capacity, but I'll get there eventually. Change is life -- but this seasonal currency change's life needs to change into something less irritating or simply die an unlamented death.20Views1like0CommentsSimcity Buildit - Follow the rules and you'll be banned!
In recent weeks, new rules have appeared in Simcity Buildit. For example, production times for nails, metal, and wood have been reduced, but demand for services such as water, sewer, garbage, and electricity has also been significantly reduced. Strangely, these new rules seem to be deployed randomly; some cities are affected, others not, regardless of their level. For my part, noticing that demand for services in my capital and regions was reduced, I chose to demolish these service buildings in order to use this space to build new residential buildings. Once destroyed, you are refunded a portion of the value of these services. In my case, these were Omega services, so I recovered about half the value of nearly 80 service buildings (yes, I had a lot!). In doing so, the amount available in my neobank reached approximately 40 million, while its limit is 750,000 Neosimoleons. An hour or two later, my city was banned, excluded from my club on the server dedicated to cheaters. Following a request for help finding a solution, the SimCity Buildit "specialist" told me that I had used an illegal version of SimCity Buildit to obtain so many Neosimoleons. Such ignorance of the game from a specialist is hard to imagine. It took me 10 years to build this city, and an EA intern gives himself the right to impose his opinion on me?! In short, if you are affected by these new rules, do not destroy your Omega services if you think the refund amount will exceed your bank's limit. If a real EA expert is reading this, know that I need help...246Views2likes3CommentsEA, take your thumb out of your ____.”
Hi Why on earth did they even add a hacker report to this game? You can’t report cities whose names you can’t even type. Even if you can type the name of the city or club, reporting doesn’t work at all and nobody responds either. No one is dealing with the hackers. And the forum moderator only cares about enforcing rules, not actually fixing the problem in game. Our club plays in wars every possible moment (about 5 times a week), and most of the time (70-80%), our opponents are cheaters. Most of them are clubs with Russian names. Right now, we’re at war with a Russian club that has 25 members. 11 of them have scored so far. The current score is 170 000 (us) and 670 000 (them). 10 of their war players have war disasters at max level, but the average war rank of their players is 36. How is it possible that our club’s war score is 5122, but theirs is 5084? Again this company is ______108Views5likes3CommentsOrange service demands
So I started a new city and I’ve noticed the the service needs are split between and orange/bronze and a red. I understand red is for major demands through not enough services or as simple as a road not being connected but what are the orange indicators for? My water, sewage and electricity are more than demand so it’s not down to a lack of services. All my roads are connected to the main services and no matter what I do (buy more or upgrade them) it won’t stop. And I can’t develop anymore till it’s resolved. Am I being moronic or is there something wrong or that I’m missing? Any help would be great!53Views0likes1Comment
