After updating my phone HTC10 to Android Oreo, the game started to have random graphic glitches..the only solution is to restart game which is really annoying. On nougat the game was working without any issues.
These glitches happens randomly.
Attached is the screenshot.
I already tried to uninstall and install again, with no help.

Hi.am using tab E with nougat. play a little slow but playable. had session on Android and teacher stated that most games play better on lollipop or marshmallow. The higher the update the harder for games. Might answer your question but not a solution.
I have this same issue too: Device is a Samsung S8, everything was fine until the Oreo update. I can reproduce this anytime.
REPRO:
Another way to repro is to not exit the game (Step 3) and pick up from step 4. Once the screen is unlocked and the game resumes you'll notice the corrupt graphics.
N.B.: In my experience such a major OS update is cause for a full device wipe which is what I did after several weeks of corrupt graphics from this game. Unfortunately that did not fix the issue.
I may have found a solution. I saw that the enhanced screen mode was set to "Adaptive Display". The Adaptive Display setting states that it may not be compatible with third-party apps. I turned off the blue light filter an changed to basic screen. So far, the graphics problem seems to have disappeared.
I've been getting this glitch and one where all of the objects are "black". It looks like we see the bare 3d objects that get the images painted onto them. Essentially, any time the game "resumes" after a period of time, this occurs. Sometimes it occurs after an ad has played if I take too long to return to my city.
It is very frustrating and I've gotten to the point where I kill the app rather than just pressing home to leave it.
