Latest update on January 5, 2026 crashes when going to a regional city

    Hi Mayors,

    We've released an update to address the crashing when using effects. Please update the game to 1.73.2 in the App Store/Play Store when you get a chance. 🙂

I have a Samsung S24 and after the most recent update a few hours ago my game repeatedly crashes. I can't do anything. When I attempt to move from region to region it crashes. I have tried all the recommended steps to solve the problem and nothing works. My phone repeatedly tells me there is a "bug" with the app and the developer needs to fix it. What is the solution? The game is unplayable.

Since the new update, the game keep crashing whenever I try to travel to a different region. Any solutions to this?

    Having the same issue, crashes. I’ve deleted the game and reinstalled on my iPad, no change. Same issue on my phone using cell data

    I’ve noticed now, it also crashes when trying to make a purchase in the marketplace

    I'm having the same issue except I was able to travel to my frosty region without it crashing but now when I try to get back to my main city where all my factories are  and all my other buildings to make items are it crashes immediately. It also crashes when i try to go to all other cities! I cant do any assignments in the mayors pass or anything since I cant get back to my main city. This is the worst!!! I've been playing this game for like 8 years and I've tried EVERYTHING to fix it!!! They better fix this soon!!!

    Try switching off Holiday Tree effects / other city wide effects. I had this issue and had to switch off the Holiday Tree snow effect to travel to a region.

        To turn off the effects - tap on the building in question and toggle the orange slider to off.

    I switched oof the holiday tree, I can travel now, but when I switch it on again the same problem again, the game shuts off.

    I didn't pay to get this problem, I hope they can fix this, it only began when the game was updated.

    Switching off snow effect from holiday tree solved the problem. I would have never thought to do that.    Thanks for the advice.
