The application is crashing when I go from the primary city to any regional city as soon as I click on that regional city, I updated about an hour ago to the latest version. I am on an Apple iPhone iPhone 7 with the latest OS.
Try switching off Holiday Tree effects / other city wide effects. I had this issue and had to switch off the Holiday Tree snow effect to travel to a region.
How do I turn off Holiday tree effects /other city wide effects?
And that problem of the tree and the color change of the water is the only thing I notice of the update 🤷♀️
Switching off might be the solution, but I have recently purchased that tree for 20 euros. 😏 So I do hope they fix the real problem..
Switching off snow effect from holiday tree solved the problem. I would have never thought to do that. Thanks for the advice.

Confirmed, disabling the effect for the Christmas tree solved it for me too.
Same on Android. Seems like this update was really well tested...
