Since the last update resume doesn’t work. The game has to be restarted.

Thank you posting this. My gameplay on my IPad has been impacted by the bug you described as well.
Using iOS 18.4.1 on an iPad Pro 13 M4.
Error accessing Global Trade, Train Station, chat and CoM
Repeated restarting of games, uninstalling the game does not permanently fix the issue.
Trouble began after updating game for new season.
