We could not agree with you more. That acquisition by PIF - Affinity Partners an investment firm held by the Saudi Arabians will be finalized at the start of fiscal 2027, which begins in April 2026. EA's greed was just too high to turn this deal down. And is anyone surprised at this latest action by EA?

There will be a silver lining in this - EA won't be the owner of Electronic Arts anymore. But having said that who knows what lies on the horizon.

The one thing that you have stated that everyone should pay attention to, is guarding your personal credentials and financials. Why in the world would I want the Saudi Arabians to have this information? They cannot be trusted - they have a long time standing track record of manipulating the oil markets, causing oil prices to be inflated over their value.

With that said there are certain things one can do to protect their private information..... but will this be enough?

  • The fact that no representative of EA can be bothered to post any reply speaks volumes....... their silence is deafening,   utter buffoons

Used the play, City Island by Sparkling Society years ago and that's where I'm off to now.

Personal data is protected by the jurisdiction that you live in. Not by the jurisdiction that the company operates in.

The sale of a business does not alter this.

The city is a mess after the 2.0 update. Why are you insisting on destroying the game? It's already so difficult to complete anything in the seasons, and now this awful update. Why? Why? I spent all my money trying to mitigate the chaos, but the regions are terrible. Remove this bizarre update.

I deleted the app off of my Ipad after 8+ years of building the cities that were promptly destroyed by the service update. I wasn't about to waste time rebuilding what they screwed up with the update. I suggest everyone else do the same. That company is already screwed thanks to the impending takeover.
