I appreciate the feedback for refunds. I have only been playing for a week. So all purchases are recent.
I would prefer an answer on where to get the bolt/nut items though as I enjoy the game.
Nice info on refunds, now tell us where to find the nuts and bolts to build with. Getting tired of having to request new designs.

I'm not sure this will help much, but here is the response I got from Customer Services regarding how to get the new items (nuts & bolts, railway guard's cap, etc.)
'To follow up on your question, let me share that newly added feature is going through beta testing and will soon be fully available to all players in the game.
So, please keep an eye on future updates which will be notified via in-game message.
Till that time I would advise you to refresh the required items to get new items requirement.'
Don't you just love it when Customer Services are so understanding and helpful? I have the new mass transit system as part of the release last week. Seems random who was put in the beta trial for this.
Unfortunately, even if you have the new railway feature, it is incredibly slow and hard to get the items. Hopefully they change the design.
You get a new currency every time you send out a train from your train station. But only a small amount. And you have to wait 2.5 hours to deploy another train. With the new currency, you can buy these new items from the new Railway Store. Like the War store, what isnfor sale changes. Right now railway store changes options once a day.
Long story short, it takes forever to get what you need, and the items are needed everywhere. The only way to get by right now is to spend simcash to rush items or actual money to buy a ton of currency, which is maybe what the designers are trying to do. But if you look across the posts on this forum, you'll see the new feature is alienating and frustrating a lot of players. Fingers crossed they roll it back or make the whole system optional.

I do not want the trains period based on what is being developed. I do not know how to convey this to EA without sounding rude. Helpdesk has 5 keyboard shortcuts, always the same answers, play it for 8 years, so i have seen some answers.
You can purchase bolts, conductors hats and lanterns with the train currency which you earn from loading the trains and then having the trains depart from the train stations.
So you mean we have to make a railroad and after it starts servicing ill be able to buy bolts?
EA has evidently gone completely tone deaf on this topic.
I still cannot understand what the point of the trains are other than another vehicle for EA to influence us to watch ads or spend simcash (or real money). Dispatching trains back and forth does NOTHING to help me build my city. It's just more junk I have to track, another stupid currency.
I really want to hear from the developers and understand what their vision is / was. To me, the trains were an incredible waste of development time.
I just refresh the build requirements. I don’t imagine I’ll ever do the silly trains.
You have to go to the blue button on the right upper corner and then it opens showing where you can get the bolts and other items.
