Re: What does ea look for in player report?

@Duckups Deeply disappointed. No matter how many hacked accounts we have reported during (or before the beginning of) wars, no one is ever booted - at least we haven’t seen any up to now. Maybe you’re luckier.

And things seem to get worse. Check latest videos on YouTube with double and triple active boosters of the same type (e.x. energy pumps and jackpots 😳). We had climbed up to 67 position and we dropped down to 455 after 4 defeats in a row from hackers- I can’t even imagine what is happening between the top clubs...

As I suggested in another post, we should get a “cancel the war” button (active during the preparation phase) to avoid playing against those teams.

@1457699360 Also. A lot may not be hackers. Depends. But you may be surprised. I think one or 2 per team can be hackers and the legit players use them. Lol. The one booted last war. Didnt even raise concern to us. Some said he rebuilt too fast. But the one I thought had to be 100 percent. Was never booted. Level 7 mag. 97k avg score, we held him to 20k, lol. Won 1.2 mill to 400k
  • @Duckups No it’s not hackers island. A friend of mine from another team told me they faced a club who used double (Same) boosters, which made me curious, and that’s how I found relevant videos.
  • @Duckups Yes I thought so the same a few weeks ago. But during our last war, our opponents had 23 hackers!!! 24h/day active energy pumps, building portal - building portal- shield buster - etc. a real nightmare.

We have them all reported, the same answer, more screenshots etc. Nothing was done- it’s so frustrating. We couldn’t even score cause they domed us all within 2 seconds (and we usually score about 1,8 million in total). It ended up 9 million against 500k cause this unnecessary one-week building portal feature gave them the means to do that.

Anyway, after 7 wars in a row against hackers made us all take a decision, not to buy war packs again until this hacking issue is solved. And if it continues, we will eventually stop playing the game. Unless we are given a chance to avoid them somehow - and “surrender” or “cancel active war” during preparation phase (with a small point penalty) could be an option.

@1457699360Wish I could help. But I am awaiting EA to respond,  I think a surrender button 4 hours in would be good, maybe 8 to 12 even.  Sometimes ea takes awhile to boot if they do

  • I like the “surrender” button idea! Though there's a risk that can be used in an unfair way by cheaters. Lots of cheaters have feeder clubs and play internal war with your own teammates. They can use the "surrender" button when they all get their chests and finish the war early and start the next war. Or if they failed matching, they can "surrender" so the legit opponent will lose the chance to play. The "surrender" can make it possible "super-lightning war" for those cheaters...

It's really frustrating that you have to estimate how hackers/cheaters can cheat the system when you come up with new ideas or improvements, otherwise it'll be a failed feature like SB and KO.

For the efficient reporting, I'd like the players ID visible like club code#. So we can report players without club names or bunch of screenshots, I wonder EA can't ban them because hackers already switch clubs and change their names when EA get our report? Probably hackers/cheaters can't be so free if they are less anonymous too.

When they take a report with players ID, they can just type in the ID in their system and auto screen them. I'm not a programmer so I'm not sure if it's possible, but making the players ID visible might solve problems...

    Hello my friends,

Let's not "forgive" EA on how they operate. What we can see about clubs and players must be a little part of what EA's game operators can see; if it wouldn't be so, it would be totally impossible to make any control.

In this case, we should call EA an amatorial society, not a serious game provider (let's name this bolded phrase "rule 1", as I will recall it later).

In the game I operated I had a tool that availed me to control every single "breath" -"fart" would be the correct word. Will I receive a warning?- of every single player and/or club: every trade, attack, improvement, change, entry or exit, EVERYTHING. And I was availed to check all of those things for everyday till 6 months before.
It wasn't one EA game, that provider was (and still is) not big as EA is, so you should think they had less room to make things works: false, that system worked very well as there were new hackers/cheaters everyday, but their game life was very short.
Every player has his own ID. We just can see our own one, it's a privacy matter, but for sure EA can see and trace all of its.
Are you sending a screenshot of a club? Of course EA can see who were in that club at that moment, see players ID, trace and control those ID and see their actual clubs, their actual names, what they did. If not possible, back to "rule 1".
Checking a player and/or a club can be a long thing, but it's game operator's work. And works uses to be payed.
Aren't EA paying their game operators so that these operators aren't enticed on their work? back to "rule 1".
Aren't EA having enough game operators so that these operators can't manage this work? back to "rule 1".
Aren't EA giving the right tools to help their game operators keeping a clean game? back to "rule 1".

It's hard for me to believe that a giant like EA can't manage those things. I'm not a believer of conspiracy theories (see: they avail it 'cause they make more money in this way or similar ones). And I fully respect EA, I'm playing EA games since I was a boy and I'd refuse to think I gotta back to "rule 1". But the truth is that for everyone hacker/cheater banned on one day, you'll find ten new ones the next day. The only exception of "rule 1" and/or conspiracy theories that comes in my mind is that they still haven't found a way to easely embed those players. And it would be even more sad, 'cause we'll have to live this situation without knowing if an end will come one day; or leave the game; or become ourselves hackers/cheaters too.

What a cheater looks like.  We all report, avg score 122k.  This team is tough.  Lots of mag 15s, one hacker they get what they want

  • They booted one, not this guy...  now we win, lol.   Guess real players exist

@SummitVista3310 Ea has told me in many personal e mails that they have too much reports so things takes time but eventually we will see...

Months gone on clear cases and one was almost done properly. All the old players was removed but the new low level peeps with avg war score +120k with low level attacks was left...

Random idea.  EA should put some kind of mark next to the name of those they claim legal.    I mean.  Guess they could go rogue after.  But save a lot of reporting time

  • @Duckups you report everyone with an avg score over 122k?  If that's true than you are contributing to the problem.  You say your team is near top 20 and yet only score 1.8 million?  That just doesn't add up.  Most on my team score over 122K and all are legit and we can't get near top 20.  You are no doubt reporting legit players and contributing to EA's back log with false accusations.  A hacker is easy to recognize and it's not simply someone who is stronger than you or puts up > 122K.  I'm getting so tired of people threatening to report everyone because they get beat.

    @StumpBros It works for us.

We have 5 that can score more and have been reported lots, still here

We arent the problem. Hackers and EA are. 122k with level 7 mag. He wasnt booted. Another one was.
  • @Duckups the hackers are obviously the problem but all the false reporting against your team and you against others doesn't help the issue.  Submitting complaints on averages is BS.  My team wars every 2 weeks at max to ensure everyone has what they need to perform.  An avg of 122K doesn't = hacker.  But you keep doing what works for you...

@StumpBrosAvg of 122k with level 7 mag as only attack is questionable.  Possibly using the hacker booted for supplies.

Problem is they hide better now. So we report em all, works for us. Keep trying

We would report your whole team too if it makes you feel better.

When you do 6 wars in a row where a min of 6 are booted, and in 2 of the wars EA only leaves one player on other team.

    Then we can talk
