SimCity BuildIt Store Login Using EA Account

Do you have an Apple Account? I use this and have no problems with it. Also try FB 

If they let us use our EA login, it would make sense but as usual, if there is a more awkward way of doing things, they go for that instead 😉

I went down this road once already.  I was told since my game is linked to my EA login, I would have to start over with a new city linked to one of the other accepted logins.  This is not gonna happen.  I’ve spent years building my city to almost 5,000,000 sims.   I’m not starting over.

I have this problem too. Main city is Apple login, 2nd city is EA login and 3rd is Google login. I can’t get the free gift with 2nd city.  It doesn’t make sense. I don’t understand why they don’t have a login for EA. Previously I had all 3 saved to Facebook but I wanted to delete all the extra FB accounts.

I have an apple account and an EA account and I can access this game using either as I used the same email. Who ever told you it can’t be done is an idiot.

The problem with that is i apparently have another city that is linked to my Apple ID,  and I refuse to use my FB id to link with the city, for personal security reasons.

so I wonder, is there a way to delete the city linked to my Apple ID and break the link?

I was playing on an Amazon Kindle tablet, and kept getting the "secure your city" message. The only option for that in settings was Facebook. I refuse to use Facebook for anything.

Likewise, I could not claim the daily gift, getting a "no game linked to this account" when I tried to connect my game through Google. 

Scbi help said I needed to manually install Google play to be able to link my game. I installed Google play, but still couldn't connect game to Google or back up my city.

My EA account showed a connection to Amazon and Google.

So I uninstalled the app and installed it from Google play. My city is gone, and the restore old city dialog says there is no city connected to my account for either Google or EA.

And now I can't get to help from the game, because the city i now see is not my city.

How can I get this fixed?

As a Final Update:

I was able to solve my issue by:

Logging off my current city (the one I want to keep).

I then deleted the app and reinstalled from App Store.

I loaded the city I did not want to keep, then deleted it.

I then loaded the city I wanted and logged in with my Apple ID.

II was then able to get the free $15 gift.  I thought it was supposed to be $25.

Anyhow, I am set.  Thanks to all for the help!
